  1. Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a technique for removing dents from a vehicle's body without sanding, filling, or repainting. Using specialized metal rods and tools, we access the back of the panel and carefully massage the metal back to its original shape.

  2. It depends on the dent. PDR works best on dents where the paint is still intact — no chips, cracks, or scratches. If the paint is broken, traditional body work may be needed instead. The best way to know is to send us a photo or have us take a look in person.

  3. It varies depending on the size and number of dents. A single door ding might take 30–45 minutes. Larger/complex dents may take a couple hours. A full hail job can take 3-5 days. We'll give you a time estimate upfront before any work begins.

  4. Yes. Mobile service is available throughout Midcoast Maine. We can come to your home, your workplace, or anywhere convenient. All we need is reasonable access to the vehicle and decent weather or a space such as a garage to work inside.

  5. Yes, we're experienced working alongside insurance adjusters and can help guide you through the process.

  6. Pricing depends on the dent size, depth, and location. How many dents are present and a variety of factors such as the type of metal, what needs to be removed and reinstalled to gain access to the damage. We offer free estimates — contact us and we'll give you a breakdown in the quote.

  7. PDR preserves your factory paint finish — something traditional body work simply cannot replicate. Your original paint is one of the most valuable things on your vehicle, and once it's gone, it's gone. In the hands of a skilled technician, PDR keeps it intact. For the right type of damage, it's also the faster repair, getting you back on the road without the wait of a body shop. When PDR is an option, it isn't just a different way to fix your car — it's the better way.
